what is this?

I was at the lfs and saw this one random fish in a tank. Can anyone Id it? Is it even a dwarf?

pictures were hard to get but i hope that combined they do the trick! If I can find out what it is i'd like to get it if it's compatible with my tank!

That is a Thorichthys meeki... a firemouth cichlid from Central America. Not a dwarf, but not a super-bad central American either. It will eat smaller fish like tetras though. It is best in communities of robust fish like other larger cichlids, catfish, big tetras, etc...
