Based on previous knowledge:Apistogramma sp "Jurua"= Apistogramma sp "Cruzeiro". But What is "Apistogramma sp. "Jurua II" and "Apistogramma sp. "Jurua I" ?Looking forward to your answer.
I saw A. sp. "Jurua II" at Wilhelm's - a big german breeder - and I must say, I saw no difference to the "normal" Juruá/Cruzeiro.
Even Nadja Wilhelm couldn't tell me any difference.
So, in my opinion, it's just a name of a more coloful breeding form of the A. sp. Juruá/Cruzeiro.
I agree with Rolo (I almost alway do!). Römer proposed, in CA2, the names Juruá 1 & Juruá 2 for specimens that are indistinguishable from each other, except that they are "distinguishable only by their different courtship and brood-care" (which are not described!). It is the same mess that Römer is making of A. sp. Maulbrüter/Brustband, claiming - based only on behavior - that this species is actually 2 different species.
