What can I add? Should I take out? Is it just right!

I have a 20 Gallon Long. It currently contains 2 Cuckutoids, 2 sp. Steel Blue, and 6 half beaks. Is there anything I can add to the tank? Also if you think it's to crowded what should I remove? Any Help would be appreciated.

It Depends. Do you want to make it a community or a breeding tank? A community I'd add maybe a small bristlenose plec and a trio of cories? As a breeder seperate the cacatuoides and Steel blues to different tanks.

I don't see how the two species of apistos are going to get along unless you have that thing chock full of leaves and debris to where they never see each other; but that's just my opinion. Cories never seem to last long or get enough to eat in my apisto tanks. The half beaks are a good idea though -- do they stay up towards the top?

It is very heavily planted. It was originally just a tank with 6 half beaks. They fought a little and would bang their heads into the side of the glass (Not lethal to the fish just deforms their beak). So we added a bunch of long plants which I heard would fix that problem and it did. Eventually we added more plants, and the two Cuckutoids. A friend of mine wanted to get rid of his tank so we adopted the steel blues. They don't seem to fight at this point and the cuckutiods have spawned once.
