how big do viejitas get? how big of an area do they claim as territory?

A really big viejita is 3½"/8.5 cm. If given the opportunity, males will clain the entire bottom of a 55 gallon/1 m tank. If visual boundaries are built in the aquascaping, the territory can be much smaller, 20 High or 60 cm tank.

i have a 29gallon (30x15x18") do you think this is a suitable tank for a male and a female?
my water is 4kh 2gh ph6.5, is this ok for these fish?
