two apistogramma species in same tank?

So my tank has just finished cycling and i'm in the process of lowering the pH from my city water 7.8pH to ~6.8pH via peat granules, so will be a couple weeks before I place any fish in the aquairium, I am keen on apistogramma and I have seen two species I would like to keep and watch breed, they are apistogramma agassizi and apistogramma cacatuoides, can I keep one male and two females in my 55G long of each species?

I don't know what you mean by structure unless you mean built up area's to limit line of sight?

Yes I would like to see some fry, hopefully to the free swimming stage at least, I would like to add some bottom dwellers like cory cats and small plec too but as I want eggs and fry that's not going to happen.

A community tank is not a breeding tank (I think I've written that at some time in the past!). Can you mix the 2 species in a 55? Sure. Will you lose some to interspecies territorial aggression? Probably. You'd be better of choosing only 1 species.
