I have a pair of cacs which have spawned in a 35 g planted community tank. There are both tetras and cories in the community.
Currently the eggs are on the underside of a rock cave. This is the first spawn from this pair. I would *really* like to get some babies from them, and I've had poor luck with other caca fry in similar communities, mysteriously "dissapearing" at night.
Should I remove the rock to another tank? Should I bring mama along too, or is this likely to stress her out and cause her to eat her eggs? I don't really like the idea of raising the fry without her. What about waiting until they are wigglers or swimmers and siphoning them? And could the mama go with them at that point?
Any thoughts appreciated
