Hi all,
After years of looking for Apisto's in South Africa, I found what I think is a young male cacatuoides.
His total length is about 4cm.
After finding him I managed to track down someone who has a a new batch of babies. The little ones will be ready for sexing late December or early January. From what I understand, these guys are pair forming, so I'm wondering what the best options would be regarding the number of females.
He is in a 115liter tank, 80cm long. Would it be a good idea to get 2 females so he can choose one and then remove the other heart broken female? Should I add more to start off with?
Also, would it be a problem adding the females after the male has been alone in the tank for such a long time?
Regards
