sigh.... a new problem

Well to cut a long story. My two best rams, had been arguing. I think it was a load of eaten spawns. Well the male (who is alot bigger) started to make the little female so scared she would hide in the plants at the top

Well I moved him on his own to a 60L with corries, but now I feel sorry for him (even though he was making life for the female hell! ) He is sad and not eating, I want to reunite them but I don't know what to do!

The tank is so peaceful without him causing havoc and she is so happy

Help! please!

Cichlids are loners most of the time. They do not become "sad" so to speak. They will need to time to get used to their surroundings. In a new tank that they have been placed in, it can take days (or in rare cases, weeks) before they start to eat normally again. Give him some time and he should settle in. Try feeding him a little here and there and his appetite should come back.

Well good news, I have seen him eat. Luckily all I have fed (or tried) is live blood worms. If I did reintroduce him back to my community tank would he cause havoc what with the territory aspect etc. Also I just got a load of cute 1.5cm baby cardinals, I theyre so cute I couldnt see them get hurt!
