sexing my borelli

I have recently bought 5 borelli at my LFS and nobody there could tell me what gender they were. We even bagged all 5 in the tank and brought them into the sunlight for a better look. We saw that there was one big guy in the bag and four small ones. We guessed the big guy was a male and the others were female. All of the little guys have a dark line running down the middle of their body. The big "Male" has a light black line down the middle body and some light black lines running vertically along his body. He is not very colorful yet so I am afraid it might be a female. They are all pretty small yet the biggest is about 3/4 an inch.

Can anyone help me figure out what gender these fish are? or give my any other signs to look for.
