salt with gold rams?

can i add aquarium salt with my gold rams? is it bad for them?

Rams do not do better with salt added. At least not in my experience.

Neons won't do better with salt; guppies may. It's best to keep fish with compatible water conditions together.

def. have to agree with Tula... salt as an constant additive to a tank is for live bearers or debatably with African rift lake cichlids. S.A. fish and especially North Americans are actually quite salt intolerant.
