Romer Book - Used

As Mike Wise and others have discussed, the Romer book "Cichlid Atlas Vol 1" is no longer available from most book sellers.

I was just on Amazon looking at things and discovered that they have a single copy available as a used book. However, it is quite expensive - $1,858.92! I don't think this is a joke so I am prepared to make someone a great offer to buy my copy of the book for only $1,750 <G>.

i just brought it last month froma lfs, they are still around

fishgeek is right, they are still around. Everytime I go to one of the wholesalers in L.A. I see a couple copies of the atlas there.

Hmm, is the dollar the japanese Yen, hehehe...

Here in Hong Kong, we could buy it at a price of
~ HK$400 (i.e. US$50)...
