Greetings from Bulgaria!
I'm about to start a Rio das Mortes biotope aquarium. This is a small river in Mato Grosso, Brazil which feeds Rio Araguaia, which on it's turn flows to Rio Tocantins, and then comes the Amazon itself, right before its estuary.
The fishes will be two kinds of tetras (Hyphessobrycon amandae, Thayeria boehlkei) and two kinds of catfish (Corydoras julii and Otocinclus affinis).
I'm very keen on adding some dwarf cichlids, too. But I want them to be as close to the biotope as possible. I cannot find any information about dwarf cichlids from Rio das Mortes or Araguaia, so I decided to write my question here. Maybe some of you can help me in my quest. Thank you!
