Ramshorn Snails in Apistogramma tank

Hello,

I have set up a 10 gallon tank for breeding Apistogramma borellii with a sponge filter and sand substrate. I haven’t added any fish or other critters yet. I do like ramshorn snails but would they pose any threat to apisto eggs?

It seems there is conflicting information online? I know that they have been shown to be beneficial and conducive towards the hatching of various catfish species’ fry.

Most of my tank have the smaller ramshorn snails (unintentionally included). They do not seem to interfere with the breeding success of my apistos at all. I do not know about the larger Brazilian ramshorn.
