i bought some tankmates for my rams. 2 khuli loach and a bumblee bee goby thats ok with freshwater. im planning to put 1 or 2 another dwarf cichlid species. can this tankmates are ok with the rams? thanks.
Which bumblebee goby is freshwater? Sure, most will survive in freshwater for a while, but for long term maintenance they really do need brackish water. They are also well-known fin nippers. Since we don't know how large your aquarium is, we can't really say if you can have more dwarf cichlids in this tank.
i dont know if its a real bumblee. my lfs tells me that this goby is do well in freshwater and it can survive in long term. my tank is a 15 gl tank.
here is a video of my goby.
Well, your BB Goby certainly isn't the typical ones found in the trade. It actually behaves more like a gudgeon, which is my guess. Gudgeons come from many different water types, from totally freshwater to marine. Since your tank is only 15 gallons, I would say you have more than enough bottom-dwelling fish already. I would suggest some smaller top/middle dwelling species.
Yah i think it is'nt a bb goby cause those are more yellowish than mine. Well came back from my lfs and there shipment of dwarf ciclid havent arrive yet.i dont know much of gudeon. Well thanks a lot and hopely the shipment have arrive and i could buy some and to be addition to my aquarium. Ahmm can i have snail in my tank? My lfs offer me olive nerite snail.
