Raising Nijsseni fry

My Nijsseni fry are doing well and growing quite fast (it's been two weeks since I first saw them and the largest ones grew to ~1 cm) but I have a couple of questions on how to make sure they keep doing well.

The mother is not watching them a closely as before, and the fry are swimming around in quite a big radius. There is a pair of Colisa Chuna with them in the tank, will they eat fry when they get the chance?

And will the parents pose any threat to the fry's well being?

Thanks!

The parents are fine in there--but the main rule with fish is that anything that will fit in their mouths, they will put in there, sometimes even stuff that dont fit in their mouths--they will try to get in there...

Thank you for your reply!

I was hoping that my athletic and swift apisto fry would be able to avoid these dwarf gourami's with they're upward directed mouths but I'll remove them anyway.

By now the male and the female spend more and more time chasing each other. I read here and there that if they would get in the mood for breeding again they might be a threat to the fry. Should I consider taking the male out? And if not, what would be an indication to do so?

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
