Pregnant female without mate?

hi,
im currently in a bit of a sticky situation.
I had a pair of agassizi. The female is holding eggs and, as luck would have it, the male dies for an unknown reason. So im wondering, what will happen to the female and the eggs when there is no make to fertilise them?

Umm, im not an expert but the previous owners of them, who has kept fish for ~30 years, said they were ready to breed. that and the fact that there is a huge bulge underneath her, and she has been cleaning rocks

Gravid (not pregnant) females normally re-absorb the eggs.

Did the male also look fat before he died? "Huge bulge" might be an indicator of "bloating" due to kidney failure, bacterial infection, or other causes. If it's really eggs, they should re-absorb if no male is present, as Mike says.
