Female.....
Probably somewhere in the agassizii lineage.
agassizii?
gephyra?
pulchra?

The only thing I'd say with any certainty, is that she looks well fed

welcome to the sight Bryan, whateverer she is, she looks ready to breed, with a little bit of tail nipping/rot, a few good water changes should clear up. The more experienced should chime in, in a day or so. I'm really not any good at ID'ing females.

Hi all,
It was just listed as apisto at a hole in the wall aquarium store
She is most likely to be A. agassizii, just based on probability.

Like the others have said you can't exclude the other possibilities, but they are all much more unusual fish.

cheers Darrel

I agree Aggs are common, the other 2 are not... looks very much like a happy F Agg to me, well fed too

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
