Pelvicachromis subocellatus - when to remove fry from parents?

First, i'd like to say it's a great site, with valuable information.
I'd like to know whether I should remove fry from their parents? if so, when would be the right time?

Thanks for the compliment; we aim to please.

Pelvicachromis species seem to do well with their fry. If the tank is large enough, some hobbyists leave the fry with their parents and allow them to grow up in the breeding tank. If the parents decide to spawn again, however, that could mean trouble for the older fry. Another option is to remove either the parents or the fry after the parental protection period has expired. This usually happens 4-6 weeks after the fry become free swimming.
