Just wanted to know...
I just had a spawn and the fry are a week old. Should I leave parents in or separate them?

I`ve never had to seperate any of the fry from their parents. They are great parents and a joy to watch how organized these guys are.

Pelvicachromis pulcher

Hello Adam,

Congrats on your breeding success!

I agree with Brad. The only reason I can think of to separate your fry from their parents (or your parents from their fry) is if the parents want to spawn again. Otherwise, please sit back and enjoy the show!

All the best,

Randall Kohn

Great to hear. The pulchers are actually my girlfriends. They are great to watch, the male is doing all the work and the female stays at the coconut all day. My pair of taenatus "nigerian reds" just laid eggs as well, so hopefully ill be watching them very soon. They are great little fish. Thank you for the advice ill make sure it gets to the right person.
