Here is a link to my gallery. Scroll down to the P. subocellatus 'moanda' images. I placed a mirror in the tank and got a real show. It is very interesting that the female initiated the threat response. The male was slower to respond and did not attack the mirror as violently as the female did. I am also intrigued by the 'pair attack' display, in which the female was always below the male. Every time they showed a threat display together, he is above her.
