Pel. humilis spawn

I returned home from the GCCA swap yeasterday to find my Pel. humilis 'fria' leading a big group aof fry around the tank. The fry are HUGE. They are as big on the first day of free swimming as a P. pulcher or P. taeniatus are after a week or more. My P. sp. blue fin fry have been free swimming almost two weeks and are not as large as these humilis are today.

I snapped some great pictures. I will try to get them loaded and post a link later today.

Size perspective is tough, but the male of this pair is about 5 inches long. The female is about 3.5" long.

Now that's something we don't see often around here... westies.. good to see you have some fry... maybe selling a few off in the near future?... let me know when they're almost ready and I'll start making room if needed... please!! john
