Parents and Fry pics (cacatuoides)

I just wanted to thank you guys for helping me choose on some Cacatuoides for my tank. They're very interesting to watch and have bred several times. I finally have had some fry and one of them has survived to a size (~1/4 inch) and is no longer looked upon as food.

Those are nice fish Molino. Congratulations on the successful spawn. Hopefully, you'll continue to have successful spawns in the future.

nice fish molino. i had a spawn of my cacs in my community tank and it is tough to keep them in a competitive tank...

Thanks, I hope they also spawn again in the future. When the fry grows up some more do you think the LFS will take in just the one fish? I know they would probably prefer to get a batch at once.

that fish looks like a female, you would have a better chance if it was a male. why not keep a trio? you got the room in that tank for her? you never know, she might breed with daddy.

That just doesn't sound right :lol: Seriously though is that bad? I've heard a little inbreeding doesn't hurt the stock. The pair I have right now were also purchased together and are probably siblings.
