I have found pics Like yours what I was hoping for was a pic of a female not in breeding dress mine have no blotch in the midquarters/abdomen area. They may still be young. Thanks for the reply Yours look great. Now if I can get my Bit Purutu to start coloring up and getting their extensions I had a beautiful male but lost him to internal parasites. got some borellii eggs cooking again and some ram eggs too about 150.blueblue said:For your reference: The blue one is a male pandura, the yellow one is a female pandura. ^.^

Thanks Blueblue I did notice two of the littler ones squaring off and they had some faded dark coloring along midsection so I know now that I have at least 2 females I think four and two males Now I just got to get the water right and wala they should spawn too bad the rita fallout did not make ti to Dallas/FT Worth area was hoping on collecting some rain water for my apistos. lol I have soft water 50pp tgh but 8.4 PH my tkh is 400-600 ppm I have buffering capacity out the yen yang Only thing to lower the alkalinity is to use rain or RO water and distilling is too much work.LOLblueblue said:Curtis, i do see a couple of small female pandura in your picture.
The one on the left hand side of your first photo is definitely a female... ^.^
