New Macmasteri pair(?)

Just got these two yesterday and was assured they are a pair.They are still settling in but both appear to be females to me although the "male" is twice the size of the female and much stouter in the body.They both have quite a bit of yellow in them and the larger has staked a territory and chases the smaller out of it whenever she ventures too near.The smaller is all over the tank whereas the larger stays in the back of the tank is "his" territory most of the time.Just wanted some opinions I guess.

Additional info.The store owner told me he had had them about three months.The female is about 1 1/2 inches and the male is about 2 inches but much larger overall than she is.Cant get a pic with them both together as they dont seem to like each other much.They were alone in a tank in a back room that he has lots of tanks for breeding set up in and both were very skittish.They have settled down quite a bit since putting them in my tank.
