Mike wise commented and said that the fish i mislabelled as A. gibbiceps is actually A. rupununi.
That is very odd as the "female gibbiceps" was collected hundreds of miles away in boa vista in a shallow pond full of gibbiceps males. Thanks mike for pointing that out to me.
