Need help to ID this pelvicachromis

It was sold to me as a Taeniatus "nigerian red" but i have some doubts.Can anybody ID it?

The caudal fin is consistant with a taeniatus form from Nigeria. The black and yellow bands in the bottom half of the fin are found only in the nigerian forms.

Lamboj suggests in his book that 'nigeria red' is an aquarium strain since no populations of red forms have been found in the wild. Therefore 'nigeria red' is very variable. I would call your fish a nice aquarium strain nigeria form Pel. taeniatus.

Ted and I are on the same page here. I'd call your fish Pelvicachromis taeniatus "Nigeria-Red," probably an aquarium strain.

Thanks for the help. My only problem for the moment is that its not "them" its him :?
Planning on selling him and get a pair of kienke or klugei
