The ventral fins are long and end yellow, I'd say it's a young male. Looks a lot like mine when I got him.

Still thinking it's a male ? (I hope so)

Hint, as your water has a good tint: Take a foto with flashlight. That will reveal whether there is enough blue to be sure.
