I just had my trio breed. One female has probably 50-70 little guys while the other who is a couple of days behind, has not come out from hiding. I think she may have a little less. Just wanted to share click on the link for pictures.

CONGRATS ianiwane!!! well, chances are, the dominant male was the one who spawned with both females. Your fish look excellent!!! I couldn't help but read in the other forum that you'd like a larger spawn from the females?.. well, the higher protein diet is probably the most widely used.. and if you're females are just young, then theirs will be like that and as they grow will also grow.. Congrats again!!! cheers.. keep us posted of how the fry are doing!!! thanks... cheers john

thanks john

The first time around there were probably a total of 10 or so babies from 2 females. None of them made it. This time it looks like there are going to be about a 100 or so. Some may make it. It was a really big jump from the first to second time.
