hello. just wondering what the chances are of a female agassizi becoming part of a cactuoides harem? our male agassizi sadly passed away, leaving his lass to the mercies of the cac trio who share the tank. Is it possible the cacs could accept her as part of their crew or will she just be ostracized, in which case I'll take her to our local shop who've have a lonely looking male in one of their tanks for a few weeks now..
thanks

Your lone female A. agassizii will probably be able to live with the A. cacatuoides if she is already in the same tank. I really doubt that there is a chance that she will breed with the cacatuoides male. She is not only a different species, but also in a different species-sublineage.
