Mixing Apistos??

Hi, I currently have a rio 180l tank, it measures 1metre long 40cm back and 50cm up, its well planted with pleny of bogwood rocks and coconut caves.

If you have seen some of my previous posts you will know that I have a trio of Apistogramma Blue Steel, and am having a slight agression problem with them and still am not 100% sure of the sex of them (think its 2 females and a male but the current behaviour has me thinking)

My question is, Do you think that i would be able to add another pair of apisto's? My LFS currently has aggassizi, hongsloi and cacatuoides (leaning slightly more towards the cacatuoides.

Apart from the trio of blue steel I have about 10 cardinal tetras, 10 rummy noses, 2 clown loach and a female kribensis )which i have had for years and is part of a breeding pair i had. She is very timid and spends most the time hiding in a piece of bogwood and is not at all agressive).

Do you think that agression would be a problem between the 2 species of apistos? and also I have read various articles about mixing different apistos with various opinions??

Since this is a community tank and not a breeding tank (based on the fish already in the aquarium), then yes, you should be able to keep another pair of apistos in it - depending on how it is decorated to build territorial barriers.
