Mixing apistogramma

Hi all im looking for some more dwarf cichlids for my tank. I currently have 2 female cacatuoides and 1 male and 1 bolivian ram. What else could I get that will mix with them?

How large is the tank and how is it decorated?

That is the tank and its 90 litres

Not only too small for more cichlids, but not enough territories and hiding places. Your tank decor is too open and sparse.

If you want more cichlids, you need a larger tank decorated to produce with more territorial boundaries, where a fish cannot see across the entire tank. As you commented in another post, it seems that your cacatuoides males is already establishing a territory and becoming aggressive. Adding more cichlids will only make the problem worse.

Ahh right I got you, needs planting out I think. And cheers we all look megs rough after no sleep for 3 days as the missus was in labour sunday morning until Tuesday

And you don't get a good night's sleep after that(!), at least for the first few months.
