Mixed Ages.

I have a female Cacatuoide, about one year old.

And after the death of his mate, i also have a male Cacatuoide, over two years old, who has slowed down a bit, but is still a fine looking fish.

I put the male in with the female and she is dancing about him and he is displaying to her.
Has anybody mixed pairs of varing ages and did any of them spawn ?

That's actually a great situation for you, females tend to go sterile before males do so hopefully you'll get some healthy clutches out of these guys.

Thanks for the replies.

The younger female is very interested, but the older male shows only some interest, don't think he's got the energy any more.

I think the male might just be a bit too old.
