Male or Female panduro?

Not a great photo, but wanted to ask opinions on this one. I believe it's a male panduro, but want to be sure before trying to purchase a mate.

After observing this fish some more, I think it might be a female. It was sold to me as a male, however, the black on the ventral fins, throat and the lack of a dark spot on the caudal peduncle makes me think it's not a male.

I can take additional pics to upload if that would help anyone.

I agree, a female. I've never seen such a large abdominal blotch on a male panduro.

Look for a specimen with a slightly serrated dorsal fin - particularly toward the front - a blue body cast and a more horizontal caudal spot that extends into the tail fin.
