Male or female mendezi

I was sold this fish as a female but im not sure any help is appreciated. The pictures are not the greatest

Is there any particular signs that can help me id the female, other than behaviour i thought the fish in the picture was female

Younger A. mendezi can be difficult to sex. In general the tips of the soft parts of dorsal, anal and ventral fins should be less pointed/elongated as in males, females should show less pronounced pattern in the caudal fin and the metallic bluish markings on the head should be less pronounced too – in particular the so-called "lip-spot" is supposed to be shown by males only:
