I agree with you. I looks like a male to me. Females never develop the long dorsal fin lappets.

Now see I told a guy that on another forum { yea I know I should of knowen better then to look at a normal fish site then one that is for Apisto's } He told me i didn't know wha I was talking about. He had se them like that before.
I on the other hand have never seen it before.
