Male or female apistogramma payaminonis??

Hi there I am wondering if this apistogramma payaminonis is a male or a female?

I can't say for sure, but it looks like a female of a nijsseni-group species, possibly A. sp. Matses/Nijsseni-New. Can you tell me why you think it is A. payaminonis? As far as I know the only specimens of A. payaminonis in the hobby belong to TomC, Julio Melgar, and myself. We collected them ourselves last Fall.

I thought it was a payaminonis because some time ago I posted a thread and someone said it looked like a payaminonis. Ive seen pictures of them and they look a lot like mine, but maybe I'm wrong im not sure. Would u happen to have any pictures of your payaminonis?

See top fish at http://apisto.sites.no/page.aspx?pageid=53. Note the string of dots on the rear of the fish. This is seen on both males & females.

A. payaminonis - adult, wild female. As you can see, the caudal fin is very different too; it's not rounded, and the red border is present only on top and bottom.
