male agasizzi ignoring female

hello, i've been lurking for a while now
my female agasizzi is so keen to spawn that her egg tube is down and she's going upside down displaying trying to get his attention, but he's too busy looking at other (not interesting) things to notice!

is this normal behaviour? has anyone experienced this?

How old/large is the male?

i can't say, at a guess i'd assume he was at the shop for 2-4 months and probably spent 4-6 months growing out before that, and then 2 weeks at y house but then again this is a guess heres some pictures maybe they will help

this is my first time keeping apisto's i've generally kept mediu sized SA/CA cichlids in the past
the tank has heaps of endlers livebearers aybe their distracting him?

heres a video too of the female displaying and him ignoreing (this was at feeding time but its still the same)

she appears to have spawned on the underside of an indian alond leaf looks like about 30-50 eggs not as many as i hoped for but its something, now i just gotta hope the ale actually fertalised them
