I buy mine locally (I support local dealers whenever possible) & use filters 1 step up from what it recommended: 20 gal. size in 10 - 20 gal. tanks, etc. In my grow-out 29H, I use pond sized sponge filters. With slow rates of water turnover, it doesn't hurt to "supersize" your filters.
I also like to support locals but.... If I have to purchase in volume as it seems you do I would use HydroSponge filters and I would purchase them from www.jehmco.com They ship same day and give quantity discounts. Its where I get all of my fishroom stuff from.
