Location Apistogramma trifasciata

Hi

I got some Apistogramma trifasciata, and wonder if it is possible to see what location they may come from.
The Apistogramma trifasciata on the pictures are F1 from the 5 i got originally.

Can't say exactly where they were collected, but they look like the form from the Río Paraguay system.

What make you think they are from Río Paraguay system? what do you look for in the different Apistogramma trifasciata.

Is it a A204 or 205? Upper or lower part of the river?
Tricky.

IMO both A 204 & A 205 are the same form. They are just from different known collecting locations.
