Hello,
I searched a little and I found 3 species of worms that I can buy for my Apistogramma Borelli fry.Microworms,Walterworms and Vinegar Eels which is better for my fry?

Thank you very much :D

Hi all,
Vinegar eels are very easy to keep, but tricky to harvest, they are also the smallest. Walter worms are a bit bigger, and Micro-worms bigger again. Even Micro-worms are small enough for Apistogramma fry. At the moment I mainly use Banana worms, another very similar nematode worm to Walter and Micro-worms, these are both small and incredibly prolific.

Any of Walter, Micro or Banana Worms are absolutely fine, and very easy to culture. I use these and the Java Moss method <http://www.apistogramma.com/forum/index.php?threads/breeding-mikrogephagus-ramirezii.13145/> for all larger fry now (not only Apistogramma), and as soon as the fry are a bit larger I add in Grindal worms and de-capsulated Brine Shrimp. If I get any more tanks I'll go back to hatching BBS.

cheers Darrel
