largest apisto

what is generally the largest apisto, the reason i'm asking is the my LFS has got some nijsseni and i have never seem males as big, they looked about 3.5 maybe 4" long, also is it likely that my macmasteri will grow as large

There are some large apisto's. one i kept was a A. sp. kelleri Female is about 7 - 8 cm long, male about 10 - 11cm.

A. geisleri; specimens from the type locality typically grew slightly over 10 cm/4 1/8" TL. I also kept/bred a domestic form of A. steindachneri - 'A. wickleri' - back in the late 1970s/80s that grew over 10 cm TL.
