If you are in north america, Larry W (apistomaster) on this forum may have some; though I believe he sells them in groups of 6. You may also want to post a request (Want to Buy) on planetcatfish. Goodluck!
I am doing my best to expand my L260 breeding colony but they are not prolific, small spawns(10-15), delicate fry losses and generally difficult to raise for me anyway.
I have about 35 but I won't be offering any L260 until I have more than 50 set aside for breeding. Basically I am one perfect spawn from that goal but I may not reach my goal this year but hopefully sometime next year. I have reached the stage where I have begun breeding some of my own F1's which I consider progress.
Over the years I have had a story of three steps forward and one step backwards. Sometimes not even that much success. These are every bit as hard to breed as H. zebra, IMO, perhaps even harder. Prices are getting pretty high. I have seen some featured in the past couple years at $100 each. I have also seen some beginners get lucky and offer L260 for half that but the were not quite a full inch. The fry do grow very slowly. It takes me a year to raise them to 1-1/2 inches total length.
