Does anyone have any experiance or suggestions on how to get discus fry to start eating baby brine shrimp, or for that matter, anything besides off the parents? Also, how do you get them to wean off the parents if they refuse to eat bbs? I tried putting the last batch in with some ram fry about the same size, but only one of the discus figured out to eat the baby brine and he is the only survivor. Any ideas? Thanks.

You will need to begin feeding them while they are still with the parents. Not after they are moved. Also, in my experience it is best to leave them to graze from the parents for 7 - 10 days. I usually integrate the bbs at the 5th day, and by the 10th they will actually leave the parents side when they see you coming. It is a bit of a gradual process, but it worked well, for me. Also, it is best to put them in a realatively small tank at first (I used a20H) because the bbs tends to get dispersed rather quickly in a large tank, and the fry don't notice it....
