Hello everyone,
I currently have a 230 liter tank with different kinds of Apistogramma,
i ordered half of the Nijsseni group, because i allready have the other half.
So here is my question is it possible to put them all together in one tank.
1 copple Apistogramma Nijsseni
1 copple Apistogramma Panduro
1 copple Apistogramma Atahualpa/Sunset
1 copple Apistogramma New Atahualpa/New Sunset
1 copple Apistogramma Eunotus
1 copple Apistogramma Norberti.
There are a lot of hiding places between the rocks and drift wood,i also have a lot of plants in it.
And there is a Big Spot Pleco in it also, but most of the time he is lying in his den.
I`m looking forward hearing from you...

scoozo,
To put all those fish in a 55g. is probably asking for trouble. But like I always say, it is the personality of the individual fish that is just as important as the species. In this case, however, I think that you are pressing your luck with this group. I wouldn't be suprised if the atahualpa and the norberti had a hard time getting along with each other in a 55, let alone all the others. That would be a lot of pair of differing groups, but with a single group or complex  . The nijsenni complex, as a whole, is fairly aggressive. And some can be downright evil  . If you do it, be prepared for some serious micro-management of the aggression. Have some fish jails (small tanks, breeders net, etc.) ready for unruly fish. Your life won't lack excitment.
