I left for 2 days for a vacation and saw my female like this. She’s been hiding all the time and I saw her mouth open in a finny position. She hasn’t really eaten since and always seems to be hiding and she doesn’t seem to be able to fully close her mouth. Is this lockjaw and is there a chance she can survive?

Remove her before she dies, so that other fish don't start nibbling on her body and catch it, in case its something infectious.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
