*New* here, have always loved this site for its valuable information. Im a cichlid nut and Ive been in search of Pelvicachromis sacrimontis "red form", as well as wild Pelvicachromis pulcher. Anyone by any great chance have any or know of any lucky person with these fish, either will do.

I have had regular P. pulchers and adored them. I did have a fluke incounter with P. sacrimontis "red form". It was a futal attempt and I was a newbie to sacrimontis. I had purchased them as a "pair" at a local store which always sold top of the line stock. Unfortunetly, the pair was not a well bonded couple and the female was the "yellow" morph while he was "red". They were brutal with each other till the females demise(shredded and skinned). The tank was set up appropriatly for west africans, all the right plants, hide outs, and dithers.((I did my homework))
Now that things have changed I would really like to get ahold of a group this time and breed them. I think dwarf west africans are beautiful as well as awsome additions.:biggrin:
