Image Posting

Will all members posting images please follow the forum rules.

Max size in General Forums - 200x200
Max size in Member Galleries - 600x400

There are many reasons for these rules, like them or not they are the rules. I've been pretty lax on enforcing this in the past but lately image posting has gotten out of hand.

Of course we want to see your fish/tanks/set-up/ect. But not at the expense of other members enjoyment of the forums so please only post images that follow the above rules.

Try the steps posted here:

You can even paste the IMG code directly in the text and skip the "mountain" graphic step.

How can i tell my image is 200 X 200? Will the file size help? If so what is the max file size?

as I make all my images a minimum of 800by600 (more or less depending on the crop)

to see if it is that size rightclick on the image, and choose properties, that will tell you the dimensions.

I use GIMP rather than photoshop, but use that to resize images, although you can get photobucket to resize them as well
