Hi all
I purchased these guys through my LFS here in Australia, who obtained them via contacts abroad. They were sent as part of a wild caught shipment from peru.
They were labelled Apisto Sunset and supposed to be a pair.
I have had them for 8 weeks now and they have grown at least 25mm since getting them. Im now not so sure if they are a pair as the larger (supposedly male) isnt showing any signs of extended rays on the dorsal, nor is it showing any blue sheen in its body. Also the pelvic fins are black on the leading edge and orange on the trailing edge. The smaller (supposedly female) has more of a yellowish colour overall, and all the traits that would suggest she is a female. Its the larger of the two that im not sure about. They are approx 35-40mm in size now.
Any help would be appreciated.
MALE?
FEMALE

MALE?
Sorry about the pic quality, were taken with my mobile phone.
cheers Wayne
