ID Please - appreciate all opinions

Hi all -

Would appreciate your opinion on the Apistos shown in the following photos.

Purchased as a pair as A. "Galaxy" approx 18 months ago - the first 2 photos show the male and female respectively.

The 3rd and 4th photos are male and female offspring from that original pair.

My best guess is they may be A. sp. "Pebas" (Morado), but this is simply based on comparison of other images on the web.

Any opinions appreciated. I'm likely to have a few sub-adult pairs for sale in the coming months and I'd like to be correctly describing them as such.

A. sp. Galaxy is a name used for a mix of Pebas/cruzi-subcomplex species that originate from the area around Pebas. Your original female looks like A. sp. Pebas to me. I am not certain what your original male is. This isn't unusual. It is hard to separate the species based on only 1 photo and where the caudal spot/blotch does not show well.
