Lol all this time I thought I had a pair of apistos. I gave the male and juvis to my LFS, he" took them off my hands " in the spring. He said they`d be hard to sell since I didn`t know the ID. I bet he knew. I`ve been trying to ID her so I can get a male. ApistoDave ID`d her as Nanacara taenia. Ugh now to find another male.

It's hard to say with this photo, but with a lateral photo it is easy to distinguish to them.

N. taenia has several fine horizontal rows that N. anomala does not have.

Re-designing and starting a new fish room all over again. This time we'll have many more Apistsogramma species. We are expanding.

Hi,

just in case you happen to live in Germany (or Netherlands): I have a wildcaught female A. psammophila, you could have it for free. I have no use for it anymore.
